I was searching for a pattern to replicate the Ionic Cape and found your site…OMG, you are a godsend!!! Meanwhile, my niece also owns an Ionic Cape so I was able to jot down its knitting components. Not sure when I’ll get to either crocheting your Granite version or knitting one, but I’m so very happy I came upon your website. I think I’ve spent most of yesterday and today browsing your site, LOL. Thanks so much for your clear instructions and with detailed photos, to boot!!!
Now off to buying some Clover Amour crochet hooks to save my weary hand and fingers… 🙂

I’ve been working slowly on this for the past few months. I finally completed the rectangle and was getting ready to move onto the panels when I realized I had 116 stitches across not 117. Is it still possible to salvage the sweater using an even number or should I start over again? Thanks!

Here’s mine! Took more than a month to do it over small pockets of time between taking care of a toddler and a baby, so I loved that this pattern doesn’t really require counting rows or stitches!
