With the start of a new year upon us, I was on the hunt for a 2016 planner. Ever since I was in middle school, I’ve always had a planner to help me keep track of my homework and assignments, and I love seeing my calendar laid out. When I was finished grad school and university, I continued to buy planners to help me keep track of appointments, get-togethers with people, and to write my to-do lists. Even though I have a digital calendar on my iPhone, there’s something about seeing everything laid out on paper and being able to write in a planner with pretty pens and ink.
I fell in love with this “Birch Floral Planner” by Rifle Paper Co as soon as I saw it in Anthropologie. I bought it when they were having a sale on stationery, and I absolutely adore it. The colours are so beautiful, and I love the elegant floral design. It’s a good size too so that you can see everything laid out clearly!
The paper is wonderful quality, and it includes monthly and weekly calendar pages, a section for notes and contacts, a pocket folder, ruler, and inspirational quotes. I love how it is spiral bound, which means that it lays flat! Isn’t the inner gold floral design gorgeous as well?
Here is an example of the February monthly calendar! I love seeing my whole month laid out so I can see when to schedule items. I am also keeping track of my blogging schedule with this monthly calendar as well!
This is what the weekly calendar looks like! Each two page spread shows one week with each day having many bullet points so you can write down the items you need to complete. This is almost like a quick journal for me as I write down everything that I do that day. Then, I can look back upon any particular day and see what we did or any milestones that the girls hit!
