Hey everyone!  Remember a while back when I asked you to help vote for me in the “Made in Blog Awards”?  Well, the results were announced recently and I was astonished that we actually placed FIRST in the “Design/Home/DIY/Craft” category!!!  My heart skipped a beat and I honestly did not expect to come first, especially given the other beautiful home and design blogs I was up against.  It feels so surreal and I am very proud to represent the crafting and crochet community in these awards!  

I want to extend a deep and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you around the world who voted for me (especially from multiple devices!) to help get me into the Top Ten- I could not have done it without you!  We did this together!  Thank you so much to the jurors who scored my blog so highly and to the people behind “Made in Blog” who strive to highlight and showcase Canadian blogs in different categories.  Thank you to Ryan for being my official photographer, my number one fan and for always providing me so much love, encouragement and support- we were both so shocked and humbled when we heard the news, and it’s amazing going through this together!  I continue to thank God that I have this crochet blog to connect with you all and showcase my work.  If you had told 10-year-old me that I would be crafting, crocheting little stuffed animals and blogging with my husband as an adult, I would never have believed it!  I cannot thank everyone enough!!!  Much love ❤

P.S. The results of the Ninjamatics 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards were also just announced on the weekend and I placed THIRD in the “Art, Crafting & Photography” category!  Thank you for this recognition, and once again I am happy to represent the only crafting blog in this category 🙂
