Lovely Links

I am always so inspired by all the wonderful creations that my fellow crochet designers are working on!  I thought I would share some of my recent favourites that I absolutely love and am itching to try (although I do NOT need to add more projects to my evergrowing to-crochet list as it is)!  I will do these round-up posts every so often to help direct you to some beautiful patterns and projects that I think you will enjoy as well!

I am a big fan of Kimberly of Lakeside Loops as she has such a modern and clean aesthetic.  If you haven’t already checked out her Etsy store, you must!  She writes very clear and well-explained patterns with plenty of photos.  Check out her newest design, the “Kenzie Kimono” that is available in 5 sizes: Toddler, Little Kids, Big Kids, and 2 Adult sizes!  The subtle geometric pattern and spacing is beautiful!  Check out this paid pattern HERE!

Kelly of KnitBrooks makes beautiful knitted and crocheted items.  She is also one of the co-founders of “Our Maker Life”, a wonderful maker’s movement- check out my recent blog post about it HERE!  Kelly’s Spring Cocoon Sweater is sooo pretty, and I adore how it drapes!  You can find her paid pattern HERE on Etsy and see what the beautiful back looks like too!

Kathleen of Country Pine Designs released her “Summertime Crop Top” crochet pattern last week!  I think it’s so cute, and of course it includes fringe which is so popular these days!  I personally love wearing crop tops over maxi dresses as it’s a very cute look and perfect for those who are less daring!  I think this top would look adorable worn ontop of a classic black maxi dress.  Check out Kathleen’s paid pattern HERE!

Jessica of Mama In A Stitch designs such lovely pieces, and we have a very similar aesthetic as we tend to gravitate towards the same yarns and colours!  I adore her newest design, the “Summer Vacation Knit Top”!  Jessica used the same LB Collection Cotton Bamboo in “Magnolia” that I used for my Boho Crochet Wrap HERE!  I am sooo tempted to try and knit this cute top since I’m a little more confident in my knitting skills now!  Check out Jessica’s free knit pattern HERE on her blog!

Lastly, how awesome is this mug?  Toni of TLYarnCrafts carries these in her Etsy store so we can show off our love of crochet!  I love the lettering and how “Crochet is bae” rhymes- plus the graphic is printed on both sides of the mug!  I’m usually not up to date with current slang, but Google is very helpful and I do happen to know what “bae” means!  In case you’re wondering, it can stand for “before anyone else” or also be a shortened form of baby/babe…interesting how it can be both an adjective and a noun!  This mug is 16 oz, so it’s larger than your average mug which is perfect for morning teas and coffees!  Check out this “Crochet is Bae” mug HERE and see the knitting version HERE!  Toni is also offering a coupon code until this Sunday, June 5: get 20% off with the code “crochetisbae”!

Lastly, I wanted to end off with these fabulous Zoodiac Corner to Corner (C2C) Crochet Graphs that ChiWei of One Dog Woof has designed!  She is releasing each zodiac animal one at a time, and at the end she will put them together into a magnificent blanket!  As you know, every year I have been designing an amigurumi for Chinese New Year, so this zoodiac series goes hand in hand with my series!  The monkey graph can be found HERE and all the zoodiacs that ChiWei has released so far can be found HERE!  I really can’t wait to see the finished blanket!

Thank you so much for supporting my own Etsy store too!  I surpassed 100 sales over the weekend and was so excited about that!  Let me know about any links you think we would love, and stay tuned for some project blog posts coming your way soon!
