I thought long and hard about what I wanted inscribed on my bracelet, and I decided upon, “Let Your Light Shine”. I was extremely shy as a child and would never raise my hand to answer a question in class in fear that I would say the wrong answer. I used to worry about what people thought about me and tried my best to fade into the background. As I grew up, gained more confidence, and strengthened my faith, I realized that it really did not matter what others thought about me and that God loved me unconditionally. I would never have dreamed that I would be sharing my ideas, projects, and thoughts with people around the world, and that I could help inspire people! As written in Matthew 5:16, “
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” I am still very introverted, and I love who God has made me and the skills and talents He has placed within me. I pray that I will continue to let my light shine through my crafting and blogging, that I may be bold and courageous, and that I can help show God’s love and bless others!

Inside the box is not only your piece, but also several inserts with some very helpful information. They include care tips and a special little yellow polish cloth so that you can keep your jewelry looking their best. All production takes place by hand in La Connor, Washington, and they are trying to bring stylish, easy to coordinate, and meaningful pieces to their customers. Chrissy Lavdovsky is the designer and owner of Layered + Long, and her and her team have also opened a second shop called “GLDN”.
