Hey Jes! I’m so glad that you love this design! No, you don’t turn your work after each round- you just keep working in a continuous spiral! If your slip stitches seem to be tight and curling (and you’ve already tried loosening your tension), I would move to a larger crochet hook size!

Do we turn the work for each round? My slip stitches seems to be tight and curling in. I’ve tried loosening the tension.

Any advice?

Hey Kim! As a trick, you could try and insert stitch markers along some of the back “bumps” of the chains periodically and make sure they are all oriented in the same direction when you connect the circle. Alternatively, you could also do foundation single crochets and skip the beginning chains entirely! See this tutorial on how to work foundation single crochets: http://www.mooglyblog.com/foundation-single-crochet-fsc/

I used to have the same problem, i actually do the chain then do the first row of stitches and then join that way i can tell if its twisted on not.
